REVIEWS & HIGHLIGHTS:

Brother Ali – SHOW @ Urban Lounge & Kilby Court, March 8:

If you aren’t of age yet have no fear. Brother Ali is doing an early all-ages performance at Kilby Court before heading over to the Urban Lounge for a second performance. Don’t miss this underground hip hop artist from the Midwest. His live act is full of energy and sweat and one amazing string of words after another. Fresh!

Gogol Bordello – SHOW @ The Paladium, March 8:

This is a show not to miss as this ensemble’s live shows and theatrical performances are widely acclaimed as the reason for creative success. The sound is inspired by Gypsy music interwoven with punk, dub, and ethnic influences. This show will sell out, no doubt.

NEW RELEASE: Widespread Panic’s “Free Somehow”:

While no CD can ever match the energy of a live show, Free Somehow (the band’s tenth release) has a slow, pensive feel, a significant departure from past releases. It will sit well with dedicated fans who will be taken back in time to the band’s formative days.
